Academic Affairs Committee Charges for 2024-2025:
Inter-semester Subcommittee Charges (Co-Chair, Patrick Pinhero): 
This committee is tasked with resolving policies and academic affairs that occur between active academic sessions, or independent of classroom activity.   

• Review and revision of the Faculty Handbook (FH)
• Developing a General Attendance/Absence Policy (FH Sect IV) 
• Review and potential revision of the Academic Renewal/Academic Forgiveness Process 
• Standard statement of Office Hour policy for course instructors 
• Revisiting the Policy on grades for students who withdraw

Intra-semester Subcommittee Charges (Co-Chair, Denice Adkins): 
This committee is tasked with resolving policies and academic affairs that occur in classrooms and during an active academic term.

Acting as an Ad Hoc Committee for the Integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the classroom (including the discussion/approval of syllabus statements, and other policies).

Review of the Course Evaluation process approved by Faculty Council in 2022/23
