Student Health and Well-Being Committee

The Charge to the Student Health and Well-Being Committee is to:

  1. Serve as an advocate for students regarding their health-related needs, programs, and services
  2. Consult with and advise the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, and the leadership of Mizzou’s health, mental health/counseling, and wellness-related programs, and services, on matters concerning student health and well-being
  3. Communicate regularly with stakeholders about campus health concerns and the health, mental health/counseling, and wellness-related programs and services that Mizzou provides for undergraduate, graduate, and professional students.

As an advisory committee, Student Health and Well-Being will consult and advocate on issues related to student health as they arise.

The membership of the Student Health and Well-being Committee is comprised of:

Chair: 1 Faculty Chair, selected by Faculty Council

Faculty: 4 Faculty Members, (Standing Committee Survey), 3-year terms
Staff: 1 Staff Member appointed by the Staff Advisory Council (need not be members), 3-year terms
Undergraduate Students 5 students appointed by the Missouri Student Association (MSA),1-year terms
Graduate/Professional Students 3 students appointed by the Graduate Professional Council (GPC, 1-year terms
Executive Director of Student Health and Well-Being
